TiEnergy, LLC was formed in 2002 to provide strategic product collection, destruction and disposal services to the nations railroads.

Since the beginning TiEnergy has worked on cross tie management with the following railroads:

• DM&E Railroad in Minnesota
• DM&E Railroad in North Dakota
• DM&E Railroad in South Dakota
• Burlington Northern Railroad
• Union Pacific Railroad

In 2002, we entered an agreement with the Union Pacific railroad to provide integrated cross tie services for the Extended Midwest. Projects of this scope can generate in excess of 100,000 tons annually, translating into clean energy equivalent to 400,000 Mega Watt Hours.

TiEnergy provides point of service removal of discarded cross ties with environmentally consistent disposal of materials at co-generation incineration plants located strategically throughout the Extended Midwest.

TiEnergy does not discard cross ties containing creosote materials in landfills, that cannot safely insure no leaching into ground water.
